She began her professional journey as a Marketing Executive, working for over 12 years in both Greek companies, [ Biophysis SA ], and multinational corporations, [ Bayer AG ].
Her passion for knowledge sharing and her rich experience with young people naturally led her to pursue an academic career. For the past 16 years, she has served as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), Greece. Since February 2018, she has held a faculty position in the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering at the University of the Aegean.
Throughout her academic career, she has co-authored numerous articles published in reputable scientific journals, contributed to educational textbooks and manuals, and presented her work at various academic conferences. Her research interests include Strategic Brand Management and Brand Design, Brands as Intangible Cultural Heritage, and Brand & Consumer Behavior.
Alongside her academic work, she remains actively engaged as a Consultant and Seminar Instructor, specializing in Brand related issues and Strategic Marketing Management, always applying a holistic, human-centered, approach.
Driven by her deep belief in human potential, she has also pursued training in Systemic Psychology and Coaching. She is a Certified Coach by the University of Cambridge, UK. She is committed to sharing her knowledge and supporting personal development initiatives, particularly for young individuals. Notably, she initiated and led the first and only Personal Development Program offered among Greek universities, tailored specifically for AUEB postgraduate students, which ran successfully for seven years. In addition, she is Certified Trainer in the topic : Diversity & inclusion , with an extended experiences on the subject.
Alongside her academic and professional pursuits, Irini R. enjoys exploring new places and cultures and deeply values meaningful communication and genuine connection between people.
