Dr. Alexander Agathos is the recipient of a PhD Diploma at the department of Products and Systems Design of the University of Aegean (2009). He holds a Master Diploma of the department of Informatics and Telecommunications of University of Athens (2001) and a Mathematic diploma of the department of Mathematics (1998). He has extensive research experience as he has accomplished three postdocs, the first at the department of Informatics at Tel Aviv, the second and the Department of Informatics of the university of Timisoara and the third at the University of Aegean. He has also extensive Industrial experience over a period of fives years at a big company in Copenhagen and a company in Stuttgart.

  • Computer Graphics and 3D object representation and manipulation
  • 3D computer Vision.
  • Parallel algorithms and Parallel implementation on CPU and GPU
  • Image Processing.
  • Machine Learning and Deep Neural Networks.
