The key concepts that are directly related to the department's scientific subject and define its cognitive directions are Interaction Design, Computer-Aided Design and Service Design. The subsequent three cognitive directions (streams) do not act as discrete specializations in each field; rather they create scientifically defined cognitive backgrounds that extend, support, enrich and strengthen the cognitive profile of the Department, thus providing students with a multifaceted and paramount scientific background and a set of tools covering the full range of Design application.
